Two years ago, on a dark New Year's Eve,

this miserable life I wanted to leave,

for I thought surely hell was my plight,

but then, suddenly, I saw the light.

Then I heard a mighty voice say,

"My daughter, I will get your attention this day!

All your life has been a big race

but now, My child, is a time for grace.

Turn away from that winding road to destruction,

and choose the path to a beautiful re-construction.

Surrender over all the misery and strife,

come to Me, and I will give you abundant life

and I your God, will give you peace.

Get down on your knees and repent of your sin,

for I have been waiting so long, where have you been?

Don't you feel all My love upon you abounding?

For My mercy and grace are you all surrounding!

Get in there and study My Word,

I will give you a two-edged sword.

For you, with My Holy Spirit will I fill,

so the mountains then will be only a hill."

So I did what my Heavenly Father told me that day,

and now, that old nasty life has all passed away.

Then, I heard the angels singing,

and from afar off, I saw a dove a winging.

So now from my heart His words do roar,

and like a mighty eagle in flight do I soar.

And I give our God and our Jesus all the glory,

for now, all my life is a brand new story.

And through this testimony, dear Lord, I pray,

that someone else might be able to live this way.

And unto You, oh Lord, do I give all my love,

and I thank You for all Your awesome love.

And let us always sing Your praise,

for the remainder of all our days.

And I praise You and thank You, dear Heavenly Father, for helping me write this loving testimony to You, in

the name of Your precious son, Jesus, Amen.
