ENJOYING THE “
As I sit here in the awesome
presence of the Most High,
to His
precious bosom, He draws me nigh,
I listen intently to hear His
lovely heart beat,
in that
secret place with the Holy Spirit, I meet!
I look around me in this beautiful
place,
which is
far away from the noise and the race,
admiring the
peace and natural beauty here,
the
contentment in His arms, and the lack of fear.
I listen to the songs He gave the
birds to sing,
and into
my heart, the joy of the Lord they bring,
I take a deep breath of the clear
crisp fresh air,
and
somehow it cleanses my mind of all my care.
Then I start remembering all He
has done for me,
the
miracles, blessings, gifts, and changes I see,
all the
wonderful people He has brought into my life,
and how
He lifted me from a world of torment and strife!
Then, I am overwhelmed with His
unconditional love,
as His
anointing descends upon me on the wings of a dove,
and I
rejoice and praise Him as I bask in His sweet Holy Presence,
returning His
love while I savor these moments in His lovely essence.
