A NIGHT OF MERCY

As I sit here listening to the babbling brook,

I think about how my sin and shame You took,

when You finally broke through to me that day,

You opened my ears and I heard You say,

“You will live and not die

for I have plans for you on high!

You will go to the church, to which I will lead,

and there I will fulfill your every need!”

Away from that path my car I could not steer,

so now, Your direction was perfectly clear.

Before I knew it, I was there

to find inside Your love to share.

As I bowed before You on bended knee,

You took my burdens, I was free!!!!

I gave all my life and my heart to You,

and told You to do whatever You wanted to.

At that very moment, I entered into Your Holy presence,

and basked for hours in Your lovely Holy essence.

Thank You Lord for your mercy and grace, and for changing my whole life!
