LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS

When you’re feeling down and all alone,

and everything within you begins to groan,

when you feel that life is not worth living,

you’re tired of working and forever giving,

just turn your eyes to Heaven, and focus above,

and praise the Lord, He will send down His love!

Even though it is very hard to do,

He wants to send new hope unto you!

Just realize this is only a difficult test,

God has already given His very best,

when He sent Jesus to live, love, and die here on the earth,

it was His way of telling you how much to Him you are worth!

So just sit back and think for a little while,

about all you have and are, it will cause you to smile.

You have an enemy and His name is Satan,

he wants you your life and others to be hatin’.

He would like nothing better than for you to give up,

and to drink from the depression and bitterness cup.

Believe me, friend, I have been where you are,

many times trying to end it all by wrecking the car,

but for our lives, God has a much better plan,

we don’t think we can make it, but He knows that we can,

by surrendering to Him, and taking His hand,

we can fulfill our destiny with joy He has planned.
