THE CROSSOVER

As we grieve for our loved ones in our times of sorrow,

it is a comfort to know they have a bright new tomorrow,

when they have received our Jesus as their Lord and Savior,

we know they have gone to Heaven to experience our God’s favor.

They receive from Him a new heart, body, soul, and mind,

and in that special place, a new peace and joy they will find,

a freedom from all the pain, worry, and strife,

they experienced in the world here in this life.

Just rest assured that as they passed through the valley of death,

the angels were with them, as they drew their last breath,

to walk with them hand in hand, they were never alone,

as they approached the Great Light, and Magnificent Throne!

It becomes very difficult to release them and to let them go,

because as we live on here in this world, we will miss them so,

but we must remember, God granted them to us just for a season,

and He planted them in our lives for a very special reason.

Just praise Him and thank Him for the time you shared their love,

and remember, they are looking down upon you, rejoicing from above,

anticipating the moment you will join them at that Heavenly gate,

upon God’s perfect time for you, they prayerfully await.

We just have to realize they have finished their earthly race,

so now, they bask in the glory of our Father’s awesome grace.

Although they may be gone from us in the physical presence,

they are still with us in love with their spiritual essence,

so remember the good times and forget about the bad,

be thankful for all the special blessings with them you had.
